Date(s) - April 28, 2018 - April 29, 2018
This event is presented by the Adopt-A-Pond programme at the Toronto Zoo and the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre (OTCC).
This two-day workshop is focused on field sampling methods for reptiles and amphibians (including turtles, snakes, salamanders, frogs, and toads). This will be a great resume-booster, and will provide participants with skills in sampling techniques that are widely used by researchers. Modern sampling methods will be explored and practiced, including radio telemetry, acoustic monitoring, PIT tagging and reading, and more! There will also be opportunities for networking with professionals in the conservation field. The registration fee includes meals and workshop materials. Accommodations are available at a reduced price at Delta Toronto East (2035 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON).
April 28 & 29, 2018; full schedule TBD.
