Job Description:

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Master’s degree in geology, geochemistry, hydrochemistry or engineering geology.
  • 5+ years related geochemical experience or the equivalent of education and experience.
  • Geochemical experience and knowledge in the areas of acid rock drainage, neutral rock drainage, geochemical modeling, predictive water quality modeling, process water treatment / remediation, and test methods and programs.
  • Knowledge of geological deposits models and experience in mineral exploration and mining.
  • Knowledge and experience with applicable legislation in British Columbia, Canada and international guidelines and standards.
  • Eligible or Registered as a Professional Engineer / Geoscientist in Canada.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages e.g. Spanish are an asset).
  • Demonstrated report and proposal writing skills.
  • Good contract administration and project management skills commensurate with years of experience.
  • Track record as an effective team player.
  • Above average interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to travel within Canada and Internationally
