NOTE: This position requires temporary relocation to Pelee Island, Ontario, from
May to September, 2017 (start and end dates can be negotiated). Explore Pelee

The eco-tourism based company Explore Pelee was established by Anne Marie
Fortner 10 years ago with the hope of igniting tourists’ interest in the human and
natural history of Canada’s most southern ecological gem. Over the last decade,
Explore Pelee has gone from offering simple biking tours of Pelee Island to
providing biking tours, motor tours, shuttle service, accommodations and
anything else visitors require. In 2016 we added two rickshaws to our fleet and
now offer rickshaw rides between the West Dock and Pelee Island Winery
Pavilion. With Explore Pelee, no two days are ever the same.
Explore Pelee’s staff is hard-working, dynamic and ready to adapt at a moment’s
notice to the unpredictable nature of tourism on Pelee Island. We can never
entirely predict who or what will happen in a given day, which is why our staff are
always prepared for anything. Our staff also puts the customer’s needs first. We
aim to provide the best possible standard of service every single day. We also
value fun, learning and adventure. As a part of our team, you can expect to work
very hard, but also experience many opportunities for personal growth.
Explore Pelee offers its staff enumerable opportunities for experimentation; we
are constantly evolving and welcome new ideas and projects. Want to blog about
your experiences? Great! Want to make some promotional videos? Awesome!
