Senior Rangeland Ecologist

Salary $66,232.12 – $82,723.95 annually
The Senior Rangeland Ecologist provides expert professional and technical advisory services related to range ecology programs, policies and procedures. The position leads the provincial Range Reference Area program including species at risk ungulate winter range, and management of riparian areas.

Qualifications for this role include:
Master of Science in range management, plant ecology or related field that includes range science;
At least 10 years of experience in range management, range monitoring, and administration.
Must be registered, or immediately eligible for registration, as a fully licensed Professional Agrologist with the BC Institute of Agrologists.
Experience negotiating/mediating solutions in natural resource management.
