The Conservation Education Coordinator assists the ABCA with the development, promotion, delivery and coordination of indoor and outdoor conservation education, programs and events.

Duties may include:
- develop, deliver and coordinate indoor (online) and outdoor conservation education programs
- develop and deliver communication, marketing and promotional materials for conservation education
- assist with the organization and scheduling of special events
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in conservation education, biology, or geography, required
- Solid knowledge of Ontario Ministry Curriculum Expectations
- Two years of outdoor conservation education teaching experience with species identification and enthusiastic interpretation of natural sciences for school-aged students and the general public
- Ability to work outdoors and in adverse environmental conditions
- A team player with good organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada and possess a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
Remuneration: $32.53 – $40.54 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
