HIGHLIGHTS:

Help launch our REWILDING project for species at risk.

Tasks:

  • habitat restoration,
  • species cataloguing,
  • invasive species control
  • social media content about rewilding,
  • public outreach
  • site improvement

Duration: 7-9 Weeks (30 hours/week)

Start Date: Immediately

Requirements:

  • enjoy working outdoors, independently, in different weather and terrain
  • possess strong writing and observation skills,
  • have passion, experience, or education in habitat restoration, horticulture, or species identification
  • show a willingness to learn how to use apps such as Merlin and iNaturalist

Reliable transportation required.  Preference given to applicants who have some work or educational experience in either the natural sciences or horticulture/silviculture. Applicants should be between the age of 15-30. Indigenous applicants are invited to self-identifty.
