Kettle Creek Conservation Authority (KCCA) is seeking a Forestry and Lands Technician position to support the development of the Authority’s invasive species, tree planting, and forestry and stewardship programs. Duties will include monitoring and undertaking invasive species control activities on KCCA lands, assisting with KCCA’s tree planting program as well as assisting in the stewardship of conservation lands.
The ideal candidate will have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution with training in natural resources management, forestry, GIS, environmental science or a combination of relevant work experience and education acceptable to KCCA. Experience with GPS, GIS and managing spatial data is considered an asset.
