Communication Lead Trustee
The Communications Chairperson, a Quetico Foundation executive trustee role that works closely with the board of directors is voluntary and effectively requires a long-term time commitment, say minimum 4 years – in general trustees volunteer for at least 6 years, and are often involved for a longer duration.
Help to promote Quetico Foundation’s objectives, mandate and approved initiatives
Update and maintain Quetico Foundation’s website
Maintain and promote Quetico Foundation’s blog
Assemble, review and post Quetico Foundation social media content, primarily on Facebook and Instagram
Assemble, curate, steward and promote Quetico Foundation’s newsletter
Aid and assist all other departments with respect to outbound communications as necessary , including ie. development and liason eg. this sometimes involves developing written content, providing images or preparing online content
Attend and prepare for annual general meeting and quarterly executive meetings
Maintain positive and productive relations with all Quetico Foundation contacts including trustees, external contacts and audience networks including supporters
Dedicate time as Chair of Communications at least once or twice a week to accomplish work for the Quetico Foundation
