Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Legal Services team as a Lands Administration Officer in our Moose Jaw location.
Reporting to the General Counsel, an employee in this job will provide support and expertise regarding the management of Water Security Agency (WSA) owned lands and will provide support to WSA staff on land control files for lands not owned by WSA. This employee will also maintain WSA’s Lands Data Base and will provide input into establishing applicable lands management standards and policy for WSA.
This employee administers land control granted by and to WSA (draft and prepare new land control as required; facilitate associated revenue collection including the collection of arrears; monitor associated land control to ensure compliance to land control terms and conditions and respond to enquiries related to the granting of rights on WSA lands). Also in consultation with WSA or contract Agrologists, maintain contact with clients to provide information, identify concerns/issues and ensure appropriate service levels.
The successful candidate will have Completion of a 12 month certificate program in lands management or an equivalent program of International Right-of-Way Courses and 4 years of experience.
