Stormwater Project Coordinator With Quinte Conservation starting As soon as possible. (100% funded through Federal Grant)
JOB SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Water Resources Manager the incumbent of this position will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the retrofit stormwater management projects to complete the Municipal Class Environmental Assessments and detailed designs to treat stormwater. The Candidate will review relevant stormwater management guidelines and investigate technologies to reduce phosphorus from stormwater effluent. This candidate must be familiar with pertinent legislation and procedures and have a good understanding of stormwater management and the Environmental Assessment Act. The candidate will be required to liaise with municipal councils and staff, public, and government agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS • A diploma/degree from a recognized college or university in engineering or urban planning, or a related field and/or work related experience • Project management skills • Interpersonal skills and experience required to work with a range of client groups from the public to government organizations and the ability to work as a team member • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written skills required • Experience preparing financial reports
JOB DETAILS This job is located at the Quinte Conservation office in Belleville. The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $32.00 per hour/35 hours per week. This position is a 10 month contract. Funding for this positin is 100% through Federal Grant. The start date for this position is as soon as possible.
