Conservation Technical Writer

The Nova Scotia Nature Trust is hiring a Conservation Technical Writer to help support the work of our Stewardship team.

The Conservation Technical Writer is responsible for writing thorough, informative reports with attention to detail, using and understanding baseline documentation reports, assessing properties for threats to conservation values and, with support, make stewardship recommendations in management plans.

The suitable candidate will be able to collect and collate information from various sources to include in baseline documentation reports for conservation lands, including GIS layers, public datasets, Ecological Land Classification documents, field data and the stewardship database, Landscape.

This contract position comes with the freedom to work virtually, or for those candidates living locally, an in office option is also available.
