Terms & Conditions

(Updated January 25, 2026)

Welcome to WorkCabin.ca! We’re here to help connect conservation employers with amazing people who care about the planet. By using our website (www.workcabin.ca), you agree to these simple ground rules. If something here doesn’t sit right with you, please don’t use the site.

1. Using WorkCabin.ca

When you browse or use our site, you’re agreeing to play by these rules. We may update them from time to time, so it’s a good idea to check back every now and then.

2. What We Do

WorkCabin.ca is a place for employers to post conservation jobs. We give employers a platform to share opportunities, but we don’t promise you’ll get hired—or that any listing is perfect.

3. Who Can Use the Site

You need to be 18 or older. By using the site, you’re telling us that you meet this age requirement and that any info you provide is accurate.

4. Job Listings

Employers are responsible for their postings. We don’t guarantee that every listing is error-free or that the employer will hire anyone. Once a job is live on the site, it’s final—no refunds.

5. Account Classification

WorkCabin.ca supports nonprofit, charitable, commercial, and government organizations, each with its own account type and rate tier. We trust users to select the account type that reflects their organization’s legal and operational status, rather than the sector of their clients or partners. Organizations operating as commercial businesses — including recruiting firms, staffing agencies, HR consultancies, or talent placement services — are not eligible for Nonprofit accounts, even if they serve nonprofit or charitable clients. WorkCabin.ca reserves the right to review and reclassify accounts registered as Nonprofit where the organization is determined to be operating commercially or within another category. If reclassification is required, we will apply the appropriate terms and pricing associated with the updated account type.

6. Be Cool, Stay Legal

Please don’t use the site to:

  • Post anything illegal, misleading, or discriminatory.

  • Spam, harass, or disrupt others.

  • Break any laws.

  • Use WorkCabin.ca for anything other than connecting conservation employers with people who care about conservation.

Breaking these rules may get you removed from the site.

7. Our Content & Intellectual Property

Everything on this site—logos, images, text, and graphics—belongs to WorkCabin.ca or our partners. Don’t copy or share it without permission.

8. Privacy

We care about your privacy. How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Using the site means you agree to that policy.

9. No Guarantees

We do our best, but the site is provided “as is.” We can’t promise it will always work perfectly or that every job listing is accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

WorkCabin.ca isn’t responsible for any indirect or unexpected losses—like lost profits or missed opportunities—that come from using the site.

11. Links to Other Sites

Sometimes we link to other websites. We don’t control those sites, so we can’t be responsible for their content or privacy practices.

12. Ending Access

We can suspend or remove access to the site if needed. If that happens, your rights to use the site end immediately.

13. Staying Out of Trouble

You agree to protect WorkCabin.ca and our team from any claims, damages, or losses that come from your use of the site or breaking these rules.

14. No Refunds on Job Postings

Once a job posting goes live on WorkCabin.ca, the posting fee is non-refundable.

Job posting fees cover placement on our platform and access to our conservation-focused audience, not a guaranteed number of applications or hiring outcomes. Because a posting is immediately shared with our community, we’re not able to offer refunds, credits, or partial refunds for things like changes in hiring plans, posting mistakes, early removal, or low response.

Please take a moment to review your posting carefully before submitting. If a job does not meet our posting guidelines or community standards, WorkCabin.ca may remove it, but the posting fee will not be refunded.

15. About Job Posting Responses

Every job posting on WorkCabin.ca is seen by a real, engaged conservation community, but we can’t promise a specific number of applicants or responses.

The level of interest in a job can vary widely based on factors outside our control, such as the role itself, contract length, compensation, location, timing of the posting, and the experience or specialization required. Seasonal hiring cycles and broader industry conditions can also affect response levels.

What we can offer is thoughtful placement within a focused conservation audience and a platform built to connect meaningful work with people who care deeply about it.

16. Canadian Law

These Terms follow Canadian law, and any disputes will be handled in Canadian courts.

17. If Part of This Isn’t Valid

If one part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.

18. The Whole Agreement

These Terms are the full agreement between you and WorkCabin.ca about using the site.
