Engineering Intern 
One Full time summer position (April 27, 2026 to August 28, 2026)

Work location: RVCA Headquarters, 3889 Rideau Valley Drive

There is no direct public transportation to the worksite; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation prior to applying.

About the RVCA: 

RVCA is one of 36 conservation authorities in Ontario responsible for furthering the “conservation, restoration, development and management of natural resources in the watershed” under the Conservation Authorities Act. We are dedicated to protecting people and property from natural hazards like flooding and erosion, while conserving the wetlands, forests and natural areas that reduce their impacts.

About the Job 

You will be responsible for:
• Supporting the engineering group with various watershed modelling.
• Assisting with the review of technical information.
• Gathering, processing and analysing data.
• Preparing reports as requested.

Who you are
As the preferred candidate you:
• Are a post-secondary student or recent graduate majoring in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or another related program.
• Have some knowledge of hydrological/hydraulic or geotechnical modeling.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What we offer
• Full time hours (35 hours per week) from the end of April to the end of August
• Hourly rate of $18.10
• Option to join the OMERS pension plan
• Free onsite parking
