SwampDonkey is a small ecological consulting and research service provider. We strive to find connections between people, policy, and ecology to understand how past and current land use practices shape ecosystems and the land. Using a variety of tools, and an applied perspective, we strive to develop and deliver practical solutions for complex conservation challenges to a range of clients. We focus on vegetation response to natural and anthropogenic disturbance, wildlife ecology, ecosystem restoration, improvement of operational practices for resource development, and land use policy - mostly in boreal systems.
