Water Security Agency (WSA) is a unique organization in Canada - bringing together all of government's core water management responsibilities in one place. We manage the province's water supply, regulate drainage, own and operate 72 dams and related canals, write water policy and law, build needed scientific knowledge, assess water quality and ecological health, develop and deliver water programs, interjurisdictional water agreements, protect water quality, ensure safe drinking water and treatment of wastewater, reduce flood and drought damage, protect aquatic habitat and provide information about water.
