Administrative Assistant, Contracts
Reporting to the Senior Executive Administrative Assistant, an employee in this job will provide lead administrative support services for the Technical Services Division. This employee will be responsible to undertake assignments of a greater complexity requiring a broader range of experience and expertise. Services are typically provided in a team environment to all employees in the Technical Services Division and include processing contract and competition documents, letters, authorizations, memorandums, reports, spreadsheets, forms and other documents in accordance with company standards as well as undertaking records maintenance and assisting with administrative tasks within the office.
As a member of the team in this role you will provide clerical and administrative support services. This work will include preparing correspondence, forms, memorandums, minutes, reports and other documents in accordance with established standards. In addition, this employee will undertake routine reception and mail duties and will provide administrative support to the Provincial Water Inquiry Line.
An employee in this position must have demonstrated ability in the operation of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and other corporate specific software programs, as well as in the operation of a variety of office equipment. Ability to use and process, update and publish information to the intranet and internet.
The successful candidate should possess a Certificate in a one-year Office Administration program or similar program.
