Another terrific environmental resume and career workshop
WorkCabin founder Gregg McLachlan and Emerging Leaders For Biodiversity held the fourth annual Environmental Career and Resume Workshop in March. We had another full house of university students and recently graduated environmental professionals. The popular workshop, held at the University of Toronto, gave attendees insights into how to craft a more effective and meaningful resumes for today’s competitive marketplace. Gregg showed them how traditional resume formats often don’t enable applicants to stand out, and instead, so many are lost in the sea of resumes that often flood HR offices.
Following the workshop, Gregg moderated a panel discussion featuring environmental professionals. They shared the stories of their journeys in the environmental field, how they got started and how they advanced their careers.
