


National Corporate Educator

What You Will Do
You will help the education department at DUC expand our programs to a corporate audience and lead delivery of the new corporate education program. You have a a never-ending appetite for learning and a contagious passion to share your knowledge with others to enable change.
You will work in partnership with other DUC business lines to support external organization goals of mitigating their ESG risks, including but not limited to:
- Developing a hybrid corporate education program (that includes designing multiple learning pathways that range from beginner to expert, specific to targeted industries) and collaborating with different experts within and outside DUC from education, sustainability solutions, science and conservation and external consultants.
- Collaborating with DUC business lines to identify and apply tactics to engage new corporate partners.
- Staying informed and up to date on latest conservation and industry challenges, best practices and opportunities in the medium to long-term time range.
- Working with external partners to create certifiable learning journeys.
- Meeting with businesses to learn about their organizational goals and recommend the most effective education program to meet their needs.
- Being the lead instructor in English and French for the courses at the employee and executive level, through in-person trainings and online material such as: pre-recorded class and live-streamed classes.
- Developing evaluation tools to monitor and analyze the effectiveness of courses and develop appropriate modification if needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree (BSc) in education, business, finance, natural resources, agriculture or other related degree.
- 5 years’ experience educating adults in formal education or corporate training.
- Experience in Environment, Social and Governance evaluation and reporting, to ensure that the education programs will be a solution to those gaps identified.
- Must be bilingual in English and French.
- Knowledge of business trends in Agriculture, Energy, Financial and Forestry.
- Knowledge of conservation and best practices to minimize environmental impacts of key industries on the land.
- Background in the use of modern technology to develop educational content needed in online platforms (learning management systems) and instructional designs.
- Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage learners
- Creative and problem-solving skills to invent new ways to accommodate the learning needs of contemporary learners
- Some travel within the country is necessary.

Position Details: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $65, 100 – $81,400
Location: Hybrid/Remote within Canada
