What can I expect to do in this role?
• working in a fast-paced, client-service focused team environment, you will lead and support the delivery of the regulatory aspects of NRF’s forestry, fish and wildlife, lands and waters and aggregate programs
• playing a key role in ensuring public safety and sustainable natural resource management through the delivery of various operational programs (eg flood/emergency response, dam/fishway operations, prevention of human and wildlife conflict)
• sharing your natural resource management related technical expertise with colleagues/management, as well as a wide variety of clients including the public, industry representatives and Indigenous peoples
• applying risk-based approaches and your innovative problem-solving skills to guide the delivery of the Ministry’s compliance activities
How do I qualify?
Mandatory requirement:
• You must have a valid class ‘G’ driver’s license or equivalent, as recognized by the Province of Ontario to visit sites, usually in rural or remote settings. The offer of employment is conditional upon the successful candidates providing proof that they have a valid driver’s license upon being hired.
Communication and interpersonal skills:
• You have experience in developing and maintaining positive business relationships, that enable you to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and partners.

What will my duties be in this position?
• Work in a fast-paced environment as part of a customer service-oriented team, as well as direct and guide the implementation of the regulatory portion of MRNF programs in the forestry, fishing and wildlife, land and water as well as aggregates.
• Play an essential role in public safety and sustainable management of natural resources by ensuring the delivery of various operational programs, such as flood or emergency response, dam operation and migratory passes as well as the prevention of conflicts between humans and wild animals.
• Put your technical expertise in natural resource management to the service of your colleagues, management and a diverse clientele consisting of members of the general public, industry representatives and Indigenous peoples.
• Guide the MNRF’s compliance monitoring activities by adopting risk-based approaches and innovative problem-solving methods.
What requirements do I have to meet?
What is obligatory:
