Posting Rates Effective January 8, 2024
We get it. Nobody likes price increases.
We sure don’t. It’s now our turn, though.
Back in 2021 as the pandemic was hitting the Canadian economy, the labour market, and forced so many conservation organizations to adapt or cancel some field work, we made a decision: We froze all posting rates. Fact is we hadn’t raised job posting rates in five years. We were due, especially to keep pace with our own increasing business-related costs. Like you, we’ve been hit too by increases on everything from cost of living, heat, hydro, Internet and technology equipment. But we held the line. Because it was the right thing to do for the conservation field that we are so passionate about.
So we made the difficult decision to absorb all inflationary costs on our own.
That brings us to 2024. Effective Jan. 8, 2024 new job posting rates will be in effect. After careful research and number crunching, we believe our new rates still reflect our mission to remain a professional-level job board yet have very affordable posting rates. At the same time, we know the field that we serve and made a conscious decision to make the increases modest. And our option of offering a bulk package of job postings continues to make it very affordable.
Our new rates:
Standard Job Posting: $75 | $55 for nonprofit
Featured Job Posting: $120 | $80 for nonprofit
10 Job Ads Bulk Pack: $650 | $440 for nonprofit
In the meantime, saying thank you doesn’t seem enough. But we are so grateful. For your support. For being with us for the past 17 years. And for being with us on the road ahead to our quickly approaching 20th anniversary of WorkCabin.ca and being Canada’s Conservation Jobs Board.
