Job Title: Program Manager, Contract
Location: Northern Bruce Peninsula
Position Overview: Program Manager
As a Part-Time Program Manager with BPBA, you will be crucial in successfully executing our environmental initiatives. This position involves a range of responsibilities, including grant writing, overseeing day-to-day operations, and cultivating relationships with funders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grant Writing:
- Research and identify suitable grant opportunities.
- Develop compelling grant proposals aligned with BPBA’s mission and projects.
- Submit well-prepared grant applications within specified deadlines.
- Grant Management:
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of grant-funded projects.
- Monitor and report on project progress, meeting all grant deliverables.
- Collaborate with project teams to fulfill grant requirements and objectives.
- Track dedicated grant finances to ensure appropriate allocation of revenue and expenses to projects
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities of BPBA programs.
- Work closely with staff and board project leads to promote a smooth and timely execution of project activities
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with funders and partners.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to foster collaboration and support.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited University in Environmental Science, Biology, Nonprofit Management or related field.
- Experience working in non-profit environmental organizations.
- Proven experience in grant writing and successful grant management.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability.
Salary commensurate with experience and education
Contract Term: One year with the possibility of extension dependent on the success of grant applications and fundraising.
Hours: Flexible for the right candidate, 20 to 30 hours per week.
